2005 Best of the Best

2006 is so close! yet we havent really realized BEST games of 2005, and so am going to give you Best games of 2005, and will rank them aswell!

here goes nothing!

and am going to give a brief discussion about each game:-

* World of WarCraft *
Blizzard entertainment dominated the MMORPG world by giving us one of the most best games of all times, World of WarCraft is set after WarCraft III game has ended, you are set with alot of classes and races to choose from and start your quests in a massive world that is beautifully created by blizzard, the game is a well made and set aside all other MMORPG games.

* Black & White 2 *
Following its successor Black & White which was released by Lionhead studio's a " REMAKE ", if i can say that, of B&W came into stores, B&WII is a good remake, and cannot possibly be more than that, in the game you will take the role of a GOD and you duty is to take care of your followers and lead them to victory against others, honoestly the game steps out of that story plot abit and goes into strategy War game, honoestly i liked that style, but that destroys the fact of being a god, during the game, you will feel like a general trying to fight over lands and cities, the game has a solid engine and beautifull graphics, yet it lacks some issues , honoestly i enjoyed the game but cannot really say its one of the best.

* Fable TLC *
One of the Best games that came out from Lionhead Studioes, this is a Role playing game were you get to choose your own destiny of being good or evil, venturing through lands and completing quests and revealing your own story, the game is beautifull, graphic wise, story wise, i loved this game so much, its definitly one of the best out there..

* BattleField 2 *
EA following its BattleField frencies of games, BF2 came out and did quiet a good impact on the PVP world, new vehicles and weapons, all moderate, you will be a soldier of 3 factions of this moderate world, USA , China , and the middle east coalition, you get to fight over lands over the internet using different vehicles and solider kits available, the game was fun! and graphics were excellent, BUT the loading was horrible, it takes a really long time to load up a game, and when that happens you will discover that your are disconnected from the server, horrible, yet once you log in and start the war, the game is never ending fun!

* Need for Speed Most Wanted *
EA broke the barrier with one of the most entertaining games ever released in 2005, Need for Speed following its successor Need for Speed Underground 2, Need for speed Most wanted broke the standards with great graphics, smooth play, and HOT police chases, EA decided to bring the police into action this time, and they did great, but there isnt any game with problems or mistakes, NFS most wanted has its weaknesses aswell, you cannot possibly choose your upgrades from different vendors, you just have a set of kits that are available and your done, thats one of the minor issues, second, there are NO reply fuction what so ever,, how come? i bet people would like to see their hot police chases after they run away no? ;), another thing is the RACIEST way EA did by making the Europe version a normal one without the CAMARO and other ADDED cars that is available in the BLACK EDITION of USA, why? we dont deserve the Camaro? Curse you EA for doing that and for that only am going to rank this game low.. and why cant we enjoy the game with USA? we have to wait for 2 weeks? ok... fine.. Ranking low,, bastards..

* F.E.A.R. *
Fear is one of the best First Person shooters that came out in 2005, its a mixture of Horror and action, it has a good story yet was destroyed at the end, the people who created fear loved the RING way of making people get scared so they decided to include a little girl wondering around the levels spooking you and stuff, the game has great engine, and graphics were really well made, the best thing about FEAR is when you get into a fight, you FEEL you are in a fight, bullets flying everywhere, dust from hitting the way, the AI is great aswell, yet weak once you go against it for like 2 times, NOTHING CAN OUT SMART THE HUMAN BRAIN!, ;)

* Grand Theft Auto SA *
Sorry, Bad graphics, didnt even have a chance to play it because of the graphics, and why do i care about feeding and dressing? huh,, Rockstar, u made a bad game in my opinion..

* God Of War *
GoW is the BEST game ever released on the PS2, and its the only game that really matter in a PS2, since PS2 sucked so horribly, GoW is a role/action game which set you in a fantesy world, with mythical creatures, the game is excellent! and one of the BEST, storywise, graphic wise, beasts all other games..

* The Movies *
Lionhead wanted to make a Movie based game, were you are to direct a movie, build your studio, and do all other kinda stuff, BUT, the adverts about the game were really nice, QUOTING " There are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS " of sets and motions you get to play around with, BUT, it isnt what i was expected, a let down really, made 1 movie and got bored with it almost quickly, graphic wise is like the SIMS, mostly the game was a good to go for like 2-4 days , then just throw it away..

* Quake 4 *
Quake 4 is Quake 3 Arena + Doom3 Engine
thats it :), Singleplayer story is good, but gets boring before you finish it

WoW-Raid

Last night and this morning, we went into 2 different raids on Horde Camps, the first was in SouthShore to attack the Undead Mill, we went in, standed and fought for 3 hours of defeat and re-entry, getting reinforcement wasn't easy at that time, but we were more than the hordes, we had alot of kills to our side, then after a while they started to get ALOT and they pushed us back to our camp, they then invaded us, we asked for help but sadly no one came, and it was getting late, i left, but as i heared the raid was successful, and we got ALOT of HKs, Honored Kills, i managed to get 283 Honored Kills, here are some pictures of the raid.

Then on the next day, my guild invited me to attack XR in the Barrens, i was a bit late, but managed to get 24 kills, a very weird battle, since the horde stood there doing nothing, i think its because most of us were low levels and they dont want to get DisHonored points, thats really an encouragment for low levels to go and get more points before getting really high and chances of you getting a Dishonored point by Area Effect spell will get high, anyway, they formed a Mount Line, as you will see in the pictures below, BUT they weren't PVP enabled, they wanted to push us back, and they did, its really a cool sight, scary, after some time, they moved us back and then started to surround us, in a blink of an eye, every Horde in my sight turns RED, and we were Basically, WIPED out of the barrens, a very scary experiance, but very fun, check the pictures!

Am getting on Every Raid to get as much HK's as possible, the raid is really fun, u will only have to loss some money due to repair, thats about it, other than that! get ur HKs and get cool ranks at the end of the week!

WoW-Quests

As i saw through, many people are searching for some quests related to World of WarCraft and ending up at my site, well am going to give you a simple explanation to each quest that some people searched.

1. Bear form ( Druid / NightElf ) when you reach level10, you talk to your trainer in Darnassus, just follow his instructions, its not that hard, at level20 you get Cat form ( Rogue ) , without any quest, its just a skill bought, at level30 is Travelform ( Cheetah ) same as cat form, bought, not quested, and at level15 ( i think ) is Seaform, or SeaLion form, this one is a hard quest and i can never remember everything related to it, i think, westfalls,(Work your way to StormWind through IronForge), is related, so is darkshore.

2. Elixar potions ( if i spelled it right ), NoggerFogger or something close to this, is a goblin in Tanaris city, its a level44 quest, but should be done at 47, its simple, and its a series of multiple quests, shouldn't be that hard to complete, reward is a potion that turns you randomly into 3 things, 1-Skeleton / 2-Shrink / 3-Light feather (makes u fly like a feather WHEN you fall), each effect takes 10 min except the light feather, which takes 3 mins, anyone can do the quest, potions are soulbound ( cannot be traded ) and you can buy as many as you want once u completed the quest. Cost ( 35 Silver or 45 Silver ) dont remember :D

feel free to request any Related to Druid/Night elf quests, hope i can remember some of them.

WoW Update!

Last time i did an introduction to Worlf of WarCraft, By Blizzard Entertainment, i was level 12. refere to World Of WarCraft Article to read about the game.

i have advanced really into the game, i am now a level41 Druid, and i've adventured in a huge weird scary landscape beautifuly done by blizzard, i have killed alot of bosses, with the help off friends ofcourse, and done many many quests, well, last time i said i got only Bear Form which was at level10, now i got Cat Form, which is Rogue, has a like abilities of a rogue, very handy when sneaking in to check if the quest mob is there or not, the other form is Cheetah or, " Travel Form " which is a small cheetah, very cute and fast, at level 40 i got Dire Bear Form, which i was really disappointed in, since i thought Dire Bear form would have a better cool looking shape than Bear Form, no matter!
Advancing into the game is simple, its not really hard to get 2-3 levels in 1 day if u are a hardcore gamer, just pick up some quests for some city, and do them all, you will need some help with ELITE quests though, ELITE quests are hard to do alone, and monsters have high HP and tons of Armor, and they hit Really hard, you need atleast 2-3 people in a party to finish a certain ELITE quest, ELITE monsters are easy to spot, there are ways to do this, either checking their tags which has their name with ( ELITE ) on it, or just get close and die horribly with it ;P, they have a Very LONG aggro rang! which is really annoying if you are a healer, got what i mean? :), but! all ELITE quests are fun, and mostly, KILL that GIANT! which is fun when it throws you into the air and stuff, i got some pictures of bosses that we owned and got owned by them, the problem with this game is, after you finish a quest, you get a massive amount of experiance, that makes you want to do more!, and you will never notice that the time has already passed 4am!!!!! its amazing how they make you play like that, last time i got into a game was EverQuest and FFXI, thats about it, even though FFXI was dull, but FFXI had its moments, really little, boring moments hehe.
After 41 Hard earning levels! selling stuff, buying stuff, making money! i finally reached 80 gold! and am ready to buy my mount!, Mount are " Tigers / horses / etc " depends on your race, eg. if you are a nighelf, a Tiger is ur mount, you can get a horse if you have a HONORED status in STORMWIND the city of humans, thats what i heard, didn't test it though, well, i went to the city to get my mount, trained first, since you can't ride without training, then bought my mount!! was fun! but wasn't that fast.

World Of WarCraft

EveryOne should know WarCraft! It’s the Ultimate Strategy game that started on the PC AGES ago, remember? Zon zon! Lokhtar!, Dabou! “ Orcs Sounds when selecting a unit “ now and after like 10 years, Blizzard decided to make a MMORPG game of WarCraft Depends on its unique world and unique characters.

World of WarCraft released in the UK at 11th of this month, I went to the store to get my copy and was shocked that the store is OUT OF STOCK!, I went to different other locations and finally got my copy which was one of the last 3 copies left, was kinda expensive, but not as expensive as in Kuwait that’s for sure, after 3 hours hanging out with my friends, I got back home and installed it, first of all, I was shocked of how SLOW their website was, and the Registration process was one hell of a nightmare! TONS of people are registering and the registering server couldn’t handle it, crashed every once in a while and kept on saying, “YOU ARE TOO SLOW“ huh? How do you expect me to right my CD key fast? Anyway, after wasting 2 hours trying to register I finally finished it, got my account activated and everything seemed cool, logged in, checked out the characters.
If you have played WarCraft Series of STG games, you will notice “ Of Course “ all the characters here, you will see the Dwarf, Human,Gnome,NightElfs as the Alliance Side of the game, and you will have the Horde side, which consist of Orcs, Undead, Trolls, and others hehe I don’t recall that moose thing, anyway, I choose a NightElf druid! Since I read that druids can transform into cool animals, well that’s in every MMORPG game hehe, BUT! In WoW “ World Of WarCraft “ its different!,
Well beginning when entering the world, you will be in the nightelfs city, and you will start doing quests, getting exp by killing and such MMORPG stuff, Whats interesting about WOW is that, you can Rest at the Inn for an amount of time, then get bonus experience when killing monsters, “ if I understood it correctly “ I stay at the inn and log off, come back with 200% experience gain when killing monsters, that’s fair enough and good, since I can’t play every time, other interesting thing is Death, when you die in any MMORPG game you will LOSS Experience Or as they call it , DEBT, heck it’s the same, whether its debt or lost exp, YOU will waste time getting it back, anyway, in WoW, you wont loss any experience whatsoever, when you die, you will become a Spirit and spawn at a nearby graveyard, each zone has a graveyard, then you will have the option of asking the death angle or whatever she is to Revive you, This had a penalty, this penalty is that your equipments and carried stuff will be 25% damaged, and you will have to repair them, aswell you will be effected by revive sickness for a short period amount of time, that’s about it, otherwise you will run like hell to you corpse and revive there, as a nightelf, it was FAST, since I turn into a wisp when I die “ NIGHTELFS ONLY “.
The Game Play is Fairy very simple, you do not need to learn anything new here, point, attack, KILL, easy, not like other games where u have to understand a lot of weird stuff that makes the game boring,
Whats so different about a druid in WoW and a druid in another MMORPG? Right!
Shape Shifting! Its when you can change shapes into an animal, and gain a completely different Role, example, I can change into a bear, WHICH will give me a Warrior like abilities and a massive amount of health, and a complete new skills that I can use! And shape shifting doesn’t take time! While running, SHAPESHIFT, poof u are a bear, its really nice if you know how to use it, example, cast your normal buffs on your self, blast the enemy with a couple of spells, then when the enemy almost near you, Shape Shift into a bear and START Tanking it, if your health is low, Shift back to normal, heal your self, cast root if you want, then shape shift into a bear again and continue your killing, awesome isn’t it? I loved that style, later on I can be a Cat/Cougar that will be like a rogue and Fast running aswell, the game has A LOT of stuff to do, I haven’t explore it much, only level 12 so far.
The Graphics aren’t that great, BUT it has the cartoonish WarCraft Style, which is unique, and best of it, it doesn’t go GRrrrrrrrrrt Grrrrrrrrrrrt Grrrrrrrrrrrt on my HD like EverQuest2 which has a huge memory leak, there aren’t any ZONING PLEASE WAIT, I thought that was a negative feature, since my PC wont handle a huge wide world, but! Its nicely done, and I hardly feel any GRRRRRRRRTs, have I said enough? Woha, it is! I’ll leave you with some pictures that will give you the feeling of WoW.

EverQuest II

EverQuest II a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, By Sony Online Entertainment, its the second biggest MMORPG game, as far as i know, after StarWars Galaxies and City Of Heroes.
EverQuest II follows its own successor, EverQuest, it was done carefully and over a period of years. first of all i would like to comment on the game graphics.

I think, SOE did ALOT of graphic enhancments and adjustment if you going to compare to other old SOE games, the graphics were great, but still, you need a massive Computer with an excellent Graphic card to really see the difference, one thing annoyed me though, is the blur, adding blur in a good way is nice! but adding it in like every corner is really annoying, but you can remove that effect from the option screen, so thats not a really big issue.

SOE really worked on this game, Storyline, how it continues after the first EverQuest, BUT, sadly they really didn't put the effort on the most important thing in MMORPG.

3. Animation

I don't know if anyone who played the game liked those, but for me it was horrible, i couldn't believe how stupid the movements are, and the characters seems like " some parts joint together " is that ur basic character design SOE? Varent were better ;) remember EQ?, i really think that the movements are like 1,2,3 basic, it didn't give me the feeling of Reality, maybe because after Half Life 2, nothing would give me the feeling of reality? because HL2 was so real in my computer, i didn't even notice the clock while playing, anyway, back to EQ2

first of all, when you zoom in to see the joints of a character, you will notice that this is really badly done, my settings were NOT at max! it wasn't since it slows up really hard, but it was at a high rate i can assure you that, you will notice that each part of the body is like having its own mind and movements, which is really bad IF , for example, dance and run at the same time, its funny, i think SOE did plenty of time on character design that they totally messed it up, relaxe i'll say, check FFXI characters, honestly, best characters i saw there, well don't count the galka ;), one more thing about character movements, more like 2 things really, the griffon that you ride to move from tower to tower in a huge landscape, its movement is , TOTALLY BAD, you can notice that it is following a straight line, come on SOE, you can do better!, and about the Mages spell casting, its like some people dancing. enough of movements and lets get down to gameplay! Pictures 4,5,9 shows how stupid when u keep looking at the enemy face when fighting.

Gameplay is really good, done carefuly and wisely, honestly i can say that doing hero chances to get more damage and in every level you get either 1 or 2 skills , and best of all the fun spell! fun spells or skills you can get when you are level20, anyway.. basic job/profession choices, in EverQuest II you will get to choose a basic profession that will later, accourding to you ofcourse, lead you to an advance profession, your basic professions are:
1. Fighter
2. Mage
3. Scout
4. Priest
then after reaching level 10, you will get to choose your first advancement of your profession, at level20 is the third and last Advnacement of your profession,
I choose a Fighter, and advanced it to a Brawler, then level 20, got advanced to a Monk, which what i was in EverQuest 1, i played abit, had fun for a while but, the movements kept on screwing stuff up, and why do you have to make the characters FACE the enemy FACE? it looks stupid honestly, specially when you fighting the enemy, i didn't advance more into the game, since the movement totally turned me off, and cancelled my account, the game still is great, but the movement is BAD, which i think is the most important part in MMORPG, i don't know if other people think that movements are secondary to other important stuff like fighting/ skill advancements/ job/profession advancements and stuff, but i think this game is good, IF and only IF! japanese people can do their characters and movements ;) don't you agree SOE? hire some Japanese animators and designors, your ideas were great! but movements -_-; , here are some pictures of my little advernture into the new Norrath.

This MMORPG game was created by Verant Interactive which was bought by Sony Online Entertainment “ SOE “, SOE also created other games like “ StarWars Galaxies and PlanetSide “ in EverQuest you are to create a Character, choose a Class and Kill to Gain Experience, as u gain more experience you get to higher levels and fight more monsters, “ THE JOY OF KILLING “
Honestly at the beginning I wasn’t interested in Pay to Play Methods, but thanks to my friend who gave me his account to try out a character of my creation, I changed my mind and went on and Bought the game, created my own character, at first I made a Magician and then many other characters of different classes, and the only one that I really liked was the MONK “ Martial Artists “ playing a monk in EverQuest was so enjoyable! I loved all his skills, all his moves, everything in a monk, I then reached lvl63 by the time I got Plane Of Power Expansion.

EverQuest Monsters are Amazing, they are created from the Greek Mythology, not all of them of course, but most of them, like Pegasus “ a White horse with wings “ I remember the first time I saw him, I was amazed, told by many people that u can see him RARELY and I was astonished, a white horse flying over my head, and suddenly Million people Ran pass me trying to hunt it down, it was a beautiful site!, there are other creatures, like scary creatures “ Specter “ God of Death, an island FULL of those, it’s a very scary place.

Whats so cool about EverQuest is that u can gather a lot of friends and go into Planes” if I spelled it correctly ;) “, Planes are Zones “ Area’s “ for High levels and not anyone can enter the planes, only high level characters can, the monsters inside are Horrible! They are Super Strong “ U CANNOT kill THEM ON UR OWN! “ u need special methods to kill them, one to debuff one to tank one to damage one to cast and one for trouble cases, its beautiful! I remember in PoP “ Plane Of Power “ expansion, we went in Plane of Nightmare and searched for a Huge Crocodile, when he poped! He killed us ALL! Because we weren’t prepared! It was an awesome experience! All of us 90 people DIED in the spot! I got some pictures of it! , MY GOD the first time I saw him!

The Graphics weren’t great but it was good at 1999, now they enhanced the graphics with their expansions, and they made it a bit “ NOT my type graphics “ because I was used to the old EverQuest, not the new one, but after 3 years of playing, I decided to leave because, honestly I wasn’t paying attention to the world, I didn’t know any other games, I didn’t know any new hardware, I was FOCUSED on EverQuest and how to get higher levels and better Equipments! And the main reason I was playing is because I PAID, yah, since I paid, I have to play, that’s what I felt, so I thought, that’s it! Am leaving this game to try out other games, and pay attention to life heheh ;), now SOE are going to release their new MMORPG EVERQUEST II, “ am not interested in it, since the movement SUCKS lol, sorry SOE, but will give it a try ^-^.

Allright!!!!! This is my first Impression when i first played it

.... OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! ....

HELL this game is AWESOME! tons of Great Graphics! tons of Excitement!
and my god tons of scary stuff, you walk in alone in a dark place and suddenly!
BAAAAAM! man, i jumped outta my seat like every goddamn second!
this is some scary shit, not only the graphics are great, THE MOVEMENT are soo soo ASTONISHING!
you can tell that this game isn't made for people that have heart problems, trust me, if you are then,
DO NOT PLAY IT!

Specially with a surround sound speaker system!, it made me walk up to my room while WISHING that am holding a FLASHLIGHT!.
i can say that this game is clearly SCARY, just do like this, turn off ur room lights, turn up your surround sound, and watch urself wetting ur own pants!

its multiplayer isn't great, 4 players? come on people :) when i saw the 4 player limitation i went, bah wtf.
yet am not the kind of person who plays FPS games over the internet, well u know why, Qnet's famous LAG! LAG LAG LAG!.
There are mods that u can create for the game, mods are " Modifications " that are done by players to enhance or add stuff to the game to make it more exciting, thats a good way of keeping the game alive after u finish the single player's Story mod, and all we can do is to wait for someone to create some good mod for it, i think a 32 player mod is already out, and so is a Co-Op mod, but some think that the Co-Op mod is a CD-Key Stealer, who knows huh? ;)

Ground Control II is a Strategy game where you get to control unites consist of Men, armored vehicles, and aircrafts to attack the enemy, most of the missions are to go in and control a " Landing Zone " , a Landing Zone is where you order your drop ship to support you with additional Units to fight your enemies, the story isn't new, same thing , save the planet, bla bla, BUT, the graphics that made the differece! yes, it was GREAT, the graphics are AWESOME, Camera control is EASY if u can handle it, i just used WASD to control the camera.

There are 2 Forces that you will gain command off as you progress throughout the game, the first one are the NSA ( Human Forces ), and the Virons ( Alians ), you are to attack the Emperial forces which are also Humans who seeks to open a gate for the Elder Race to surface and then Eleminate it, the NSA are to STOP them, because as the Virons Prophecy states that the Eldar race are Powerfull and can't be defeated by the Emperials,

I really Enjoyed playing the game, After i goddamn installed it like 5 times, and lost my save games aswell, i kept my profiles, but that didn't help, there must be a way but i didn't have the time to know how, i just downloaded a trainer and used GODMODE " godmassive " to finish it, ITS STILL FUN, this game is really nice, if u like Strategy game, i would recommend this game,.
Multiplayer, i never played multiplayer, specialy with " QUALITYNET " because lag is like every goddamn second, thank you QNET! . i don't have much pics but i'll try to get some from my gameplay

Games! YAH! my life really, i like games, specially with good graphics/gameplay/and story! mostly i'll be discusing PC games, because i really don't like XboX and PS2, i just hate the idea of a gamepad in my hands, and love a mouse and keyboard ;)

i like Strategy games, First Person Shooters, and Adventure games, I HATE SPORT GAMES, no sport games, its like i always say, No killing? NO FUN, YAH!

Games are kinda MY LIFE, and goddamn it, if u want to play a game in a GOOD quality, u need to waste ALOT of money on PC Hardware!, god! think about all that money spended on CPU/RAM/HDDs/Sound/Video, Sheeesh, and what bothers me the most is, When ever i buy a new peice of hardware! POOF!! another new one just out in the market! HEEEEY!!!!! wtf!!!!!! i just wasted Zilliontrillionbillion Dinars on that goddamn peice of Hardware!
