a Blog Day - 2

a normal day after a day off from university, was sitting in my apartment, messing around with my PC, then i went on to close the window since it was getting cold, and i saw, the most beautiful sight in my entire worthless life, i saw it, for the first time in my life, SNOW falling, it was very beautiful that i could never describe it in words, i looked at it, looks like in the movies or in a cartoon, white feathers falling down on your hands, beautiful, very very beautiful, i then thanked Allah for this, because, i honestly never saw snow in my life and was very greatful! then after like spending an hour watching it fall, i went back to my ordinary life, closed every window since it was FREAKING COLD, and start to play World of WarCraft as usual, man, this game takes you in a different world, when i play, i don't notice the time, i must stop, otherwise am gonna completely forget about college :(, damn it! must do something about it! emm let me reach level30 first then i'll think of orginizing the time to play heheh ;) anyway, just thought of writing something, don't think anyone reads lol, laters!

World Of WarCraft

EveryOne should know WarCraft! It’s the Ultimate Strategy game that started on the PC AGES ago, remember? Zon zon! Lokhtar!, Dabou! “ Orcs Sounds when selecting a unit “ now and after like 10 years, Blizzard decided to make a MMORPG game of WarCraft Depends on its unique world and unique characters.

World of WarCraft released in the UK at 11th of this month, I went to the store to get my copy and was shocked that the store is OUT OF STOCK!, I went to different other locations and finally got my copy which was one of the last 3 copies left, was kinda expensive, but not as expensive as in Kuwait that’s for sure, after 3 hours hanging out with my friends, I got back home and installed it, first of all, I was shocked of how SLOW their website was, and the Registration process was one hell of a nightmare! TONS of people are registering and the registering server couldn’t handle it, crashed every once in a while and kept on saying, “YOU ARE TOO SLOW“ huh? How do you expect me to right my CD key fast? Anyway, after wasting 2 hours trying to register I finally finished it, got my account activated and everything seemed cool, logged in, checked out the characters.
If you have played WarCraft Series of STG games, you will notice “ Of Course “ all the characters here, you will see the Dwarf, Human,Gnome,NightElfs as the Alliance Side of the game, and you will have the Horde side, which consist of Orcs, Undead, Trolls, and others hehe I don’t recall that moose thing, anyway, I choose a NightElf druid! Since I read that druids can transform into cool animals, well that’s in every MMORPG game hehe, BUT! In WoW “ World Of WarCraft “ its different!,
Well beginning when entering the world, you will be in the nightelfs city, and you will start doing quests, getting exp by killing and such MMORPG stuff, Whats interesting about WOW is that, you can Rest at the Inn for an amount of time, then get bonus experience when killing monsters, “ if I understood it correctly “ I stay at the inn and log off, come back with 200% experience gain when killing monsters, that’s fair enough and good, since I can’t play every time, other interesting thing is Death, when you die in any MMORPG game you will LOSS Experience Or as they call it , DEBT, heck it’s the same, whether its debt or lost exp, YOU will waste time getting it back, anyway, in WoW, you wont loss any experience whatsoever, when you die, you will become a Spirit and spawn at a nearby graveyard, each zone has a graveyard, then you will have the option of asking the death angle or whatever she is to Revive you, This had a penalty, this penalty is that your equipments and carried stuff will be 25% damaged, and you will have to repair them, aswell you will be effected by revive sickness for a short period amount of time, that’s about it, otherwise you will run like hell to you corpse and revive there, as a nightelf, it was FAST, since I turn into a wisp when I die “ NIGHTELFS ONLY “.
The Game Play is Fairy very simple, you do not need to learn anything new here, point, attack, KILL, easy, not like other games where u have to understand a lot of weird stuff that makes the game boring,
Whats so different about a druid in WoW and a druid in another MMORPG? Right!
Shape Shifting! Its when you can change shapes into an animal, and gain a completely different Role, example, I can change into a bear, WHICH will give me a Warrior like abilities and a massive amount of health, and a complete new skills that I can use! And shape shifting doesn’t take time! While running, SHAPESHIFT, poof u are a bear, its really nice if you know how to use it, example, cast your normal buffs on your self, blast the enemy with a couple of spells, then when the enemy almost near you, Shape Shift into a bear and START Tanking it, if your health is low, Shift back to normal, heal your self, cast root if you want, then shape shift into a bear again and continue your killing, awesome isn’t it? I loved that style, later on I can be a Cat/Cougar that will be like a rogue and Fast running aswell, the game has A LOT of stuff to do, I haven’t explore it much, only level 12 so far.
The Graphics aren’t that great, BUT it has the cartoonish WarCraft Style, which is unique, and best of it, it doesn’t go GRrrrrrrrrrt Grrrrrrrrrrrt Grrrrrrrrrrrt on my HD like EverQuest2 which has a huge memory leak, there aren’t any ZONING PLEASE WAIT, I thought that was a negative feature, since my PC wont handle a huge wide world, but! Its nicely done, and I hardly feel any GRRRRRRRRTs, have I said enough? Woha, it is! I’ll leave you with some pictures that will give you the feeling of WoW.

A blog day

Man, boredem can be a problem here in the uk, specially for a muslim, everything closes at 5pm and all the bars opens, sheesh, nothing to do after 5pm -_-; and there are no good games out there yet, am really expecting Battle Field 2 to be out next month but sadly its gonna be released in a few more months, lets see, what else is gonna be out, oh yah! next month StarWars Republic commandos gonna be released, this looks like a promising game! i'll get that 100%, tomorrow World of WarCraft gonna be released in the uk, am gonna get that and give it a try, nothing else to do in this holiday :D , next week we gonna start hugging books again, so i might aswell enjoy this while i still can no? RAID ON PC GAMES STORES!, that wont be enough thought, anime is decreasing, and am searching for oldies now because am bored, Naruto is getting cooler but slower, and waiting 1-2 weeks for one episode isn't good enough for me, Monster is awesome but no one is releasing at the moment, the last episode was 38 and thats it, One Piece is like 1 eps for 3 weeks , sigh, school rumble stopped at ep12, RELEASE PLEASE!, Ah! My goddess, and alot of other animes am watching, HEY AM BORED, i thought i should say that since am thinking that u going to say wow, this guy is crazy watching all these animes, its true that am bored, but some of these animes are really great, honestly, but still, anime all the time is kinda boring too, u need to mix stuff with it no? blogging is one, but hehe i can't blog every 5 seconds rofl, u can see i blog every day heheh, that will stop when univ starts i think, but i'll do my best to blog, donno if anyone reads this or not, who cares? am having fun :) AND SO SHOULD U ! is that grammer correct? donno, oh well hehe, am gonna get WOW and get more anime till this week finishes! then back to hell!!! yes! they already decided on which lab group major report am in, sheesh, let me get some rest!~ but life aint perfect! gonna keep on going! anyway! since i don't feel like capturing pictures for any anime/games to review or blog, i wrote this hehe, something to pass on time, but that something is good! i like it! nib! we love you man! , a warm thanks to all my readers! Since 1996 , I’ve been introduced to anime by my brother’s friend, when he gave my brother RANMA ½ the movie, ever since, am really obsessed with anime, first Anime I admired was Fist Of the North Star, then comes Ninja Scroll the Movie, and many other came after it, and I kept on going to rihab Hawali to buy a tape Each week, but honestly what made me like the anime more and more, is the music, and songs, of course many will say Japanese music and laugh and stuff, if you are one of them reading this, don’t continue and leave, because you have no ears at all, leave the words outta of it, listen to the music, sometimes the words are GREAT, how do I know the words, you ask? Easy, translated ;) yah, I read every translation! And sometimes I don’t need any translation at all, I just listen and know what it meant, I don’t know how to write Japanese thought, I wish I could, it looks really interesting, I tried when I was playing FFXI, but since the Japanese were not friendly at all, I stopped there, anyway, the music in each anime is great, of course not all, and here I am going to introduce you to some great music/songs done by various Japanese artists, and musicians, My Own Collection of Anime Music!

EverQuest II

EverQuest II a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, By Sony Online Entertainment, its the second biggest MMORPG game, as far as i know, after StarWars Galaxies and City Of Heroes.
EverQuest II follows its own successor, EverQuest, it was done carefully and over a period of years. first of all i would like to comment on the game graphics.

I think, SOE did ALOT of graphic enhancments and adjustment if you going to compare to other old SOE games, the graphics were great, but still, you need a massive Computer with an excellent Graphic card to really see the difference, one thing annoyed me though, is the blur, adding blur in a good way is nice! but adding it in like every corner is really annoying, but you can remove that effect from the option screen, so thats not a really big issue.

SOE really worked on this game, Storyline, how it continues after the first EverQuest, BUT, sadly they really didn't put the effort on the most important thing in MMORPG.

I don't know if anyone who played the game liked those, but for me it was horrible, i couldn't believe how stupid the movements are, and the characters seems like " some parts joint together " is that ur basic character design SOE? Varent were better ;) remember EQ?, i really think that the movements are like 1,2,3 basic, it didn't give me the feeling of Reality, maybe because after Half Life 2, nothing would give me the feeling of reality? because HL2 was so real in my computer, i didn't even notice the clock while playing, anyway, back to EQ2

first of all, when you zoom in to see the joints of a character, you will notice that this is really badly done, my settings were NOT at max! it wasn't since it slows up really hard, but it was at a high rate i can assure you that, you will notice that each part of the body is like having its own mind and movements, which is really bad IF , for example, dance and run at the same time, its funny, i think SOE did plenty of time on character design that they totally messed it up, relaxe i'll say, check FFXI characters, honestly, best characters i saw there, well don't count the galka ;), one more thing about character movements, more like 2 things really, the griffon that you ride to move from tower to tower in a huge landscape, its movement is , TOTALLY BAD, you can notice that it is following a straight line, come on SOE, you can do better!, and about the Mages spell casting, its like some people dancing. enough of movements and lets get down to gameplay! Pictures 4,5,9 shows how stupid when u keep looking at the enemy face when fighting.

Gameplay is really good, done carefuly and wisely, honestly i can say that doing hero chances to get more damage and in every level you get either 1 or 2 skills , and best of all the fun spell! fun spells or skills you can get when you are level20, anyway.. basic job/profession choices, in EverQuest II you will get to choose a basic profession that will later, accourding to you ofcourse, lead you to an advance profession, your basic professions are:
1. Fighter
2. Mage
3. Scout
4. Priest
then after reaching level 10, you will get to choose your first advancement of your profession, at level20 is the third and last Advnacement of your profession,
I choose a Fighter, and advanced it to a Brawler, then level 20, got advanced to a Monk, which what i was in EverQuest 1, i played abit, had fun for a while but, the movements kept on screwing stuff up, and why do you have to make the characters FACE the enemy FACE? it looks stupid honestly, specially when you fighting the enemy, i didn't advance more into the game, since the movement totally turned me off, and cancelled my account, the game still is great, but the movement is BAD, which i think is the most important part in MMORPG, i don't know if other people think that movements are secondary to other important stuff like fighting/ skill advancements/ job/profession advancements and stuff, but i think this game is good, IF and only IF! japanese people can do their characters and movements ;) don't you agree SOE? hire some Japanese animators and designors, your ideas were great! but movements -_-; , here are some pictures of my little advernture into the new Norrath.
