28 Days Later & Dawn Of the Dead

the 2 movies have basically the same idea, Virus spread, people getting Infected and Zombies Merge out and some people have to fight through it.

28 Days Later
At the beginning of the movie u will see the reason why the virus spread, its all because of some monkeys who had been Infected with a Virus called “ RAGE “ and spread by Biting one of the people who I think cared about the animals and kept on spread through out the saliva “ Human Spit “, that’s pretty much the best Scene in the whole movie hahahah, the monkeys getting jiggy with it and biting everyone.

Then u will see a man walking in an empty city for a goddamn hour! Well ofcourse not an hour but u will feel like it was a freaking hour, then he find some survivors and begins searching for more, and so on, The Most important Part are the people who get bitten by the monkeys turns into a Zombie, and in a city FULL with people, THERE must be TONS of zombies, which I saw a bunch of them running around, and that’s about it! The movie concentrates on some stupid soldiers who fight between each other, and forgot the MOST Important thing people want to watch, ZOMBIE EATING PEOPLE!.

The movie was boring really, I almost fell asleep in it like 5 times, and I find the monkeys scene is the best scene in the movie hehe.

Overall Movie: 5/10

Dawn Of the Dead

Basically the movie had the same idea but without the monkeys, BUT this movie did it real well, the movie is awesome, from the beginning of it and the action never stopped, and U CAN SEE MILLIONS OF ZOMBIES! Unlike 28 days later’s few running zombies heheh, u won’t get bored in Dawn of the dead, I wont spoil it on you, u need to watch it to understand ;).

You can't compare the two movies really. The only thing they have in common is that "zombies" exist. 28 Days Later was a "low budget" movie and a lot of the scenes were recorded using a digital camcorder. Seeing "Action" was the main point of 28 Days Later on the other hand, Dawn of the Dead is made like a 'traditional' zombie movie, and why shouldn't it? It's basically a remake of an old zombie movie.

I can't see how both movies could be compared, it's like comparing Oranges and Apples, the only thing they have in common is that they're round.

Another thing I forgot to mention about 28 Days Later, You might of slept through this part of the movie, but zombies aren't immortal in 28 Days Later and they need to feed in order to survive, so what happens when everyone runs and hides, or escapes the UK, or just dies? the zombies die, as they do at the end. Again, the point of 28 Days Later isn't about killing zombies, but it's about survival and friendship, concepts that are boring to some people [obviously]. 28 Days Later has more "meaning" and it's deeper, it's understandable why some people would think it's morning. Dawn of the Dead is the type of movie you watch to enjoy, you don't really have to think about anything, while 28 Days Later is a lot of thinking and a lot less action. Get my drift? I think I've mentioned everything...

Well said :) , main part of bringing these movies together in one article is to mention the stuff i didn't realize, maybe am the kind of person who likes Action instead, and the Zombies die in 28 days later because they don't feed, how did i miss that?!? i wonder, well maybe i was influanced by Dawn of the dead, i wasn't comparing, i just talked about them in general, how i felt toward each movie, i saw it in a Zombie Perspective way of view, and forgot the storyline -_-;, yet, i can clearly say that Dawn of the dead had a greater impact on me than 28 days later :).

Ah, I thought you were comparing because of what you posted at the end of the article you had something written (which is gone now I see) you started "Dawn of the Dead dominates over 28 Days Later". Sorry for the misunderstanding, and it's understandable.

yah, i had it written, but after i read your comment and gave it a thought, i realized that i should not put it in that way, it just had a greater impact to me, it shouldn't be " Dominate ", Thanks for letting me see it in a different way :)
